About ChessMate

ChessMate pairs every child with a friendly robot coach that meets them at their level. Two games — chess and checkers — with bite-size lessons, puzzles and a hint ladder when they get stuck, and every win is celebrated. Play the robot, pass one device back and forth, or play online with matchmaking, rated games and a leaderboard. It runs in any modern browser, installs as a PWA that works offline, and native iOS and Android shells are in progress.
