About Pirates

Pirates is an Indian Ocean piracy RPG built on the Adventure Craft engine, and the lead consumer of the platform's MMORPG substrate — story-graph, reputation, economy-sim, faction-politics, belief-economy, marque-bounty, character-origins and raid-system, plus crew-ai across 73 files. Sail between historical ports, take letters of marque or hunt the people who hold them, run a port economy that reacts to what you do to it, and command officers whose loyalty is a resource you can spend. Six factions contest the ocean: the Royal Navy, the East India Company, the Mughal Empire, Oman, the Swahili Coast, and the Pirate Republic.
